The Cubs could not get anything going in this one as they lose 3-0 against the Chicago White Sox.
The White Sox got on the board in the first, Jose Abreu singles to left field to drive in Adam Eaton giving the White Sox a 1-0 lead.
The score would remain the same until the 5th inning, Adam Eaton hit a solo home run to right field putting the White Sox up 2-0.
After the two-out bloop single Travis Wood came in for Kyle Hendricks. Kyle Hendricks had another great outing going 5.2 innings allowing three runs while striking out seven and walking two. Travis Wood then walked the next three batters to give the White Sox a 3-0 lead before getting Adam Eaton to ground out to end the inning.
James Shields went 7.2 innings allowing no runs while striking out five and walking four.
David Robertson came in the ninth inning to close the game.
